Having read the wonderful posts from Carter Magna and others over the past few months (enough fawning already) I decided I should stop being such a parasite* to the Internet and begin writing a blog, here goes.....
Introductions - I am a 30 year old qualified Tax Advisor for a small firm of accountants in the West Country, specifically Somerset. I intend this blog to be similar to many others I have read in that the theme is purely my life experiences but with TAX being such a large part of my life I fully expect it to take over until HMRC shut me down.
So...the first moan(?) about tax and our illustrious leader, Mr. Brown. People, give Mr. Brown more respect, he did not get to his position of power by being a moron or a wetty (as he so often appears), he presumably stepped on a few toes, hands and heads on his way to the top and so is a man to be reckoned with - an example.
Mr. Brown knows his chances of winning the next election are slightly less than zero so he has booby-trapped the tax system with the new 50% tax bracket........
I will now take a moment to answer all those who just cried "f**k the rich ba****ds", we need the wealthy of this country to ensure us paupers have something to aspire to and one Richard Branson and his multitude of companies pays a lot more funds into the public coffers than quite a few of us.
Anyhoo, Mr. Brown has implemented his booby-trap, I think.....this blogging is harder than I thought.
So Mr. Cameron becomes leader of our great nation and is faced with a decision, abolish the 50% tax bracket and have us common folk shouting "he's looking after his rich mates" or keep it and watch the rich ba****ds leave this country like it is sinking - taking huge amounts of income tax and job prospects with their companies with them.
See....you thought the Prime Minister was just a pretty face.
I'm going to end this blog now cos I'm not sure if it's worth writing more, let me know please.
Constructive criticism is encouraged kiddies but if you just wanna slag it off - go ahead, it aint gonna cost me.
* Parasite - it obtains nourishment from the host without benefiting or killing the host. Like me, I read other blogs avidly, now I feel obliged to put something back.
